Hulusi Akar: Turkish army protects rights of our friends and brothers in Azerbaijan

"Under the leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the Turkish Armed Forces continue to make great sacrifices and heroism to protect our rights, relations, interests, regional and global peace, stability, and the rights of our friends and brothers in Syria, Iraq, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Libya, the eastern and other regions of the Mediterranean, at home, and abroad," Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar said during a meeting with the heads and board members of the Retired Officers Association and the Turkish Retired Sergeants Association, Report informs, citing Hurriyet.

According to him, the Turkish Armed Forces, as Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk said, in the light of reason and science, within the framework of the Constitution, under the laws and directives of the President, are under the command of the Turkic peoples: "Let no one doubt it."
