Hulusi Akar: Turkish armed forces neutralize 1,987 terrorists

The Turkish Armed Forces neutralized 1,987 terrorists from January 1 to April 22 of this year, Report informs citing TRT Haber that Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar told a meeting with the families of martyrs and veterans.

According to him, since July 24, 2015, the Turkish army has neutralized 34,175 terrorists.

“The Turkish Armed Forces are going through the most difficult days in the history of our country. On the one hand, we are conducting exercises at sea, on land and in the air, and on the other hand, we continue military operations. We have recently launched an anti-terrorist operation, codenamed Pence Kilit (Operation Claw Lock),” he said.
