Hulusi Akar: Nearly 40 terrorists neutralized in last ten days

About 40 terrorists have been neutralized in the last ten days, said Turkish National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar, Report informs, citing Sabah.

According to him, the Turkish army resolutely continues the fight against terrorism: "The hideouts of terrorists are being destroyed in northern Iraq. Two 'leaders' of terrorist groups in northern Iraq surrendered yesterday. Three terrorists were killed on the border with Syria."

Akar said that Türkiye respects the borders and territorial integrity of all its neighbors, especially Iraq and Syria: "We say this to all our interlocutors. We prevent the establishment of a terrorist corridor in northern Syria. Since July 24, 2015, 37,793 terrorists have been destroyed."
