European Parliament recognizes Ukraine’s EU perspective

The European Parliament recognizes the European perspective of Ukraine, Roberta Metsola, president of European Parliament, said at an extraordinary meeting, Report informs referring to foreign media.
“We welcome Mr. President, Ukraine’s application for candidate status and we will work towards that goal because we will and we must face the future together.”

The application for Ukraine's European Union membership under the accelerated procedure has been accepted, registered and is under consideration, Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, wrote on Twitter, Report informs.
“Yesterday, Zelensky signed Ukraine's application for EU membership under an accelerated procedure. The application is accepted and registered,” he noted.
