Haber Global: Life begins in Azerbaijani quarter

Life begins in the Azerbaijani quarter built in the Turkish city of Kahramanmaras, according to Haber Global's video story, Report informs.

It was stated that the quarter was built by the Housing Development Administration of the Republic of Türkiye (TOKİ) with the support of Azerbaijan:

"Kahramanmaras was the city that suffered the most damage from the February 6 earthquakes. The first country to come to help after the disaster was brotherly Azerbaijan. Teams worked in this region nonstop for days. The last to leave the region was again Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan took a step forward to take on the task of rebuilding the region. It put its hand under the stone and announced that it would undertake the construction of the Azerbaijani quarter at the intersection of Heydar Aliyev Avenue and Azerbaijan Boulevard, one of the points where the most loss of life was experienced in Kahramanmaras."

Today, the quarter will be inaugurated with the participation of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, and the keys to the apartments will be handed over to their owners.
