GUAM expresses support for Ukraine’s territorial integrity

The Organization for Democracy and Economic Development (GUAM) has issued a statement regarding the situation in Ukraine, Report informs.
“We stand firm and united in support of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine. We wish national consolidation, unity and peace to the people of Ukraine,” GUAM tweeted.
GUAM was established in 1997. Currently, the organization includes Georgia, Ukraine, Azerbaijan and Moldova. From 1999 to 2005 Uzbekistan was also a member of the organization. The name of the organization was formed from the capital letters of the names of its member countries.
