The German government is planning to supply 2,700 Strela anti-aircraft missiles to Ukraine, the German Ministry of Economy and Climate Protection said, Report informs, citing DPA.
The ministry has taken a decision to supply 2,700 Soviet-made Strela to Ukraine from the reserves of the army of the now-defunct German Democratic Republic.
The German Defense Ministry is investigating the possibility of additional arms supplies to Ukraine. The German government made a decision on February 26 to supply weapons to Ukraine. Berlin had also given thousands of anti-tank and 500 Stinger missiles to Kyiv.
