German FM Annalena Baerbock to visit Ukraine

German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock said in an interview with ARD that she will visit Kyiv, the Ukrainian capital, Report informs.
However, the German minister did not specify the date of the visit.
She also explained the reason why she did not visit Kyiv earlier:
“We agreed to visit with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier. However, his visit was postponed and our trip was canceled. But this does not mean that my visit will not take place.”
Earlier, official Kyiv did not welcome the German President’s intention to visit Ukraine due to his relations with Russia. Steinmeier then acknowledged that he had pursued a wrong policy toward Russia when he was the German foreign minister.
