Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili has signed an order to schedule parliamentary elections in the country for October 26, the Georgian bureau of Report informs referring to the Administration of the President of Georgia.
Parliamentary elections are held in Georgia on the last Saturday of October in the year in which the term of the current parliament expires.
The president schedules elections 60 days before the voting day.
The Georgian Parliament is elected for four years. It consists of 150 deputies.
