Georgian president begins official visit to Armenia

Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili has commenced his official visit to Armenia, Report informs.

A welcoming ceremony was held at Zvartnots International Airport, where the Georgian President was greeted by Armenia's Deputy Prime Minister, Tigran Khachaturyan.

During the visit, President Kavelashvili is expected to hold high-level discussions with Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan and Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. He will also meet with Catholicos of All Armenians, Karekin II.

Accompanying the Georgian President on this trip are Head of the Presidential Administration Ketevan Kvinikadze, Deputy Foreign Minister Lasha Darsalia, First Vice-Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Giorgi Volski, and MPs Samvel Manukyan and Sumbat Kyureghiani.
