Georgian PM informs EU Special Representative about new peace platform

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has met with visiting EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar, Report informs.
The meeting focused on the importance of ensuring peace and trust. The agreement reached between Azerbaijan and Armenia mediated by the Georgian PM was praised. Georgia's mediation creates conditions for dialogue in the region and improves the security environment.
Garibashvili also briefed the EU Special Representative on a new peace platform - the Peaceful Neighborhood Initiative in the South Caucasus. The Prime Minister said that this initiative aims to ensure peace and stability in the region, and the EU must support this process.
