Close friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries were stressed at the acquaintance meeting.
Turkiye's resolute support for Georgia's Euro-Atlantic integration, sovereignty, and territorial integrity was expressed.
The meeting also discussed the crisis in Ukraine and the security environment in the region. The ministers stressed the special role of Turkiye in the negotiation process and Ankara's future efforts.
The Foreign Ministers expressed readiness to exchange high-level visits and organize a Georgian-Turkish Strategic Cooperation Council meeting.
During the discussions, successful trade and economic relations between the two countries and the need to deepen cooperation in this field were touched upon.
Cavusoglu wished his Georgian counterpart success in his future endeavors.
