The release of Mikheil Saakashvili means an additional headache for both Ukraine and Georgia, Chairman of Georgia's ruling Georgian Dream party Irakli Kobakhidze said, Report informs.
According to him, the former president can harm both countries if he is out of prison: "We must take care of Ukraine, our friendly country is already in a difficult situation, and the situation should not be aggravated. It is better that Saakashvili is in prison," Kobakhidze said.
Mikheil Saakashvili, now a citizen of Ukraine, entered Georgia illegally on September 28 last year and was arrested on October 1 in Tbilisi. The ex-president is currently being held in Rustavi Prison No. 12.
