Georgia is expected to simplify the rules for the entry of foreign citizens, Report's Georgian Service informs citing the Economy and Sustainable Development Minister of Georgia Natela Turnava.
According to the minister, talks are underway to ease the restrictions on foreign tourists' entry into the country.
"We hope that soon, in the summer season, we will receive a large number of foreign visitors while following all the rules. A meeting with representatives of tour operators and travel companies is scheduled for the upcoming week to ensure travel safety," Turnava said.
Georgia will resume regular flights in all directions on February 1.
