"Georgia simplifies security rules for Georgian citizens to enter the country," Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia Natia Turnava told Report's local bureau.
According to her, citizens of the country must present a negative PCR test result when entering Georgia: "Instead of the 8-day mandatory self-isolation regime, they will have to re-test at their own expense after three days."
Turnava said that Georgian citizens who do not provide a certificate would have to self-isolate for eight days instead of 12 days.
