Georgia reports 1,754 omicron cases, 3 deaths

Georgia has documented 1,754 cases of infection with omicron so far, Report informs, citing Amiran Gamkrelidze, head of the country's National Center for Diseases Control and Public Health.
He noted that 38 of them were hospitalized, and three died.
Gamkrelidze said omicron is responsible for 90-95% of all coronavirus cases in the country.
Georgia reported its first case of infection with omicron on December 20.
