Georgia records increase in remittances from abroad

During the 11 months of this year, the amount of money transfers to Georgia amounted to $3,814,800,000, up 6.2% from the previous year, Report informs, citing foreign media sources.

The remittances from Russia made up $452,800,000, constituting 38.1% of total amount.

In the reporting period, money transfers from Georgia increased 3.9% to $321,900,000.
