Integration with the European Union will remain Georgia's paramount foreign policy priority in the coming years, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said during a government meeting on Thursday, Report informs citing Georgian media.
"We have important foreign policy priorities, and the main one, of course, is European integration," Kobakhidze emphasized. "We expect a reboot of relations, which I think will proceed intensively from the beginning of next year."
Georgia held parliamentary elections on October 26. The ruling Georgian Dream party garnered 53.92% of the vote based on results from 99.97% of polling stations, according to the Central Election Commission.
