Georgia increases state funds for Muslim community

Upon the decision of the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, the financing of the Muslim community in Georgia has been increased by 1 million Laris, Report informs.
The amount allocated for this year was 4.5 million Laris ($1.5 million).
The funds will be spent on compensation for moral damage inflicted on the religious communities during the Soviet era.
