Georgia registers 19 more people with omicron strain

In Georgia, 19 more people have been diagnosed with the omicron coronavirus strain, Report's Georgian bureau informs, citing the National Center for Disease Control and Public Health of the country.
Thus, the number of cases of infection with the omicron strain in the neighboring country has reached 48.
The first case of infection with a mutated type of COVID-19 in Georgia was confirmed on December 20.
