Georgia confirms 5,021 new COVID cases, 58 deaths

The number of new coronavirus cases in Georgia has reached 5,021 over the past day, while 58people have died.

Report's local bureau informs, citing the country's National Center for Disease Control and Public Health, that some 5,041 people have been discharged from hospitals upon recovery over the last 24 hours.

Overall, Georgia has reported 528,048 coronavirus cases, 463,306 recoveries, and 6,949 deaths since the pandemic began.

The number of active patients is 57,762.
