The work to ensure the full functioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway between Türkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia should be completed in a short time, chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, Fuat Oktay, said at a meeting of the chairmen of the parliamentary foreign relations committees of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, and Georgia in Ankara, Report informs.
He noted that the meeting also included an exchange of views on the prospects for mutual cooperation.
"We exchanged views on the possible development of our cooperation in areas such as trade, economy, defense, technology, education, tourism, and digital economy. We also discussed cooperation in military exercises and security," Oktay said.
He also noted the importance of ensuring stability in the Caucasus.
The current situation in Ukraine, Syria, and the Gaza Strip was also discussed at the meeting.
