The offices of Boeing were significantly damaged as a result of Russia's massive attacks on Kyiv on the night of June 10.
Report informs, citing The Financial Times, that this was likely a deliberate strike on the American aerospace company.
According to two Boeing employees, three Ukrainian officials, and the head of the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (ACC), the building was among the targets damaged during the nighttime attack.
The American company Boeing collaborates with the Ukrainian aircraft manufacturer Antonov. The publication notes that earlier this year, Boeing executives met with representatives of Antonov and the Ukrainian Minister of Defense to discuss new joint ventures.
The Ukrainian office employs more than 1,000 people across the country. The company has continued to operate despite the war. Boeing’s Deputy General Director in Ukraine, Andriy Koryahin, told the publication that the attack “did not cause any disruption in operations.”
