Four workers found dead in bunker in Kazakhstan

Four workers were found dead in a bunker in the city of Rudny, Kostanay Region, Kazakhstan.

Report informs, citing Kazakh media that, according to the Department of Emergency Situations (DES) in the region, the workers were engaged in cleaning activities inside a 5-meter deep bunker.

"Immediately after receiving the distress call, personnel from the DES, police, and emergency medical services rushed to the scene. The rescuers retrieved the bodies of the workers from the bunker, but unfortunately, the medical staff could only confirm their deaths," the official statement read.

The exact circumstances surrounding this heart-wrenching event are currently under investigation. The causes behind the workers' untimely demise remain unknown at this point. The regional prosecutor's office has stated that the police have initiated a pre-trial investigation to uncover the truth behind this tragedy.
