Four cities of Azerbaijan and Georgia to be twinned

Shamkir, Aghstafa, Goygol, and Dashkasan of Azerbaijan will be twinned with the cities of Marneuli, Gardabani, Bolnisi, and Dmanisi of Georgia, respectively, Report informs, citing the embassy of Azerbaijan in Georgia.

Memorandums of Understanding on the twinning of cities will be signed on July 13 within the framework of the delegation's visit to Azerbaijan, led by the governor of the Kvemo Kartli region Giorgi Dokhturishvili, organized by the embassy.

The delegation includes the deputy governors, as well as the mayors of Rustavi, Bolnisi, Gardabani, Dmanisi, Tetritsqaro, Marneuli, and Tsalka of Kvemo Kartli, as well as other officials.

As part of the visit, meetings will be held in several state institutions.
