Former deputy head of General Staff of Armenia arrested due to shooting in restaurant

Former Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, Lieutenant General Tiran Khachatryan was arrested for two months, his lawyer Varazdat Harutyunyan said, Report informs via Armenian media.
Harutyunyan noted that a criminal case has been opened against Khachatryan on grounds of hooliganism with the use of weapons (part 3 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code of Armenia).
Earlier it was reported that Khachatryan opened fire from a weapon in a restaurant during a mass brawl. As a result of the incident, one of the restaurant's visitors received a gunshot wound and was hospitalized.
