Forest fire breaks out in Türkiye’s Balikesir Province

A wildfire that began in an open area in the Dursunbay district of Türkiye’s Balikesir Province has spread into nearby forested land, Report informs, citing Turkish media outlets.
Emergency response teams have deployed one helicopter, three aircraft, and various technical resources to contain the blaze. Approximately 100 personnel are currently engaged in firefighting efforts.
Efforts to extinguish the fire are ongoing. The cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
