Foreign Ministry: Turkiye closely following developments in Karakalpakstan

"We're closely following the developments in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan," the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkiye said in a statement, Report informs.
"We attach great importance to the stability and prosperity of our strategic partner, friendly and brotherly Uzbekistan, with which we have common civilization, culture and historical ties. We are sure that the administration and the people of Uzbekistan will resolve the incidents with common sense and in an atmosphere of peace and tranquillity. We wish God's mercy on those who lost their lives in the incidents and a speedy recovery to the injured," the ministry said.
