FM: Türkiye to intervene if there is threat to its security

Türkiye will intervene if there is a threat to its security, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated regarding the situation in Syria, Report informs via Turkish media outlets.

"From here I warn the groups in Syria: do not consider such chaos as tactical opportunities for yourselves," the minister noted.

He emphasized that it should not be forgotten that there will be no benefit from a game set up by someone else: "Aim to be honorable, equal, and secure individuals of the lands you belong to."

Fidan stated that there is much to be discussed through diplomatic channels:

"However, if you obstruct this and destabilize the region using violence, we will consider this as a direct threat to our national security and intervene," the Foreign Minister underscored.
