Five years have passed since the establishment of the visa-free regime between the European Union (EU) and Georgia, Report informs.
Since March 28, 2017, Georgian citizens with biometric passports can travel to the Schengen area without a visa.
The duration of the visit should be no more than 90 days within a six-month period.
Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister David Zalkaliani said that visa liberalization is another proof of the country's readiness to meet all the criteria required in the integration into the EU.
