The first flight from Türkiye to Syria took place on July 4, Turkish Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu wrote on X, Report informs.
"A new bridge from Ankara to Damascus. The first flight from Esenboga Airport to Damascus International Airport took place today. Our new bridge was realized as a sign of our deep-rooted friendship," he stated.
