Fire breaks out at cultural center in Istanbul

A fire broke out in the European part of Istanbul in the Esenyurt district, Report informs referring to TASS citing TRT TV channel.

The multi-story building of the cultural center named after Erol Olcok is on fire.

There is no information yet on the cause of the fire. Fire crews are on site. Puffs of black smoke rise into the sky for dozens of meters, which can be observed from other areas.

The fire engulfed almost all areas of the building. There are fears that the fire may spread to neighboring buildings, which actually stand wall to wall to the burning building.
