Finnish embassy appeals to Russian Foreign Ministry over receipt of letter containing powder

The Finnish Embassy in Moscow appealed to the competent authorities, as well as to the Russian Foreign Ministry, after receiving three letters, one of which contained powder, the diplomatic mission told TASS, according to Report.

"In accordance with the security rules of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Finland, these letters were handed over to representatives of official bodies of Russia, who are conducting further study of the issue. Immediately after the incident, the Embassy of Finland also appealed to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation," the diplomatic mission said, noting that they "take all threats to the security of the embassy seriously."

The embassy added that three letters were received on Thursday.
