Fidan, Lavrov discuss situation around Israel’s strikes on Iran

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to discuss the situation in the Middle East.

Report informs via TASS that Fidan said the issue of Iran's nuclear program can only be resolved through diplomacy.

"Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan held a phone conversation today with the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov. They discussed the conflict between Israel and Iran and the possible global and regional consequences of this tension. Fidan stated that the developments are concerning and that the only way to end the conflict and resolve the dispute regarding Iran’s nuclear activities is diplomacy," the source reported.
