Fahrettin Altun: Terrorists try to manipulate social media

Fighting disinformation, which has become a global weapon, is an important condition, Fahrettin Altun, Head of the Communication Department of the Turkish Presidency, said, Report informs.

"We should not forget the disinformation spread about the terrorist attack in Istanbul or the activities of the Turkish Armed Forces. Terrorists are trying to manipulate social media because they can't deal with our military on the battlefield," Altun said.
