Ex-prosecutor of one of Armenian regions sues country’s prosecutor general

The former prosecutor of Armenia’s Kotayk region Apres Grigoryan has filed a lawsuit against Prosecutor General of Armenia Anna Vardapetyan in connection with his dismissal, which he, in turn, associates with wiretapping of his telephone conversations, Report informs referring to Zhoghovurd newspaper.

He demands that the administrative court recognize Vardapetyan’s decision to dismiss him as invalid.

In July, Vardapetyan fired Grigoryan. The newspaper also claims that the security forces in Armenia are working in conditions of total wiretapping.
