Eurasian Intergovernmental Council to meet in Belarus on June 3-4

The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EAIC) is set to convene in Belarus on June 3-4, bringing together the prime ministers of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member states.

Report informs via Belarusian media that this marks the 39th meeting of the council since the establishment of the EAEU on January 1, 2015, and the second gathering this year, following the previous session held in Kazakhstan on February 1-2, 2024.

As part of the EAIC program, the heads of government will visit the "Great Stone" industrial park, where they will attend the "Belagro-2024" exhibition.

In addition to the exhibition, a plenary session on food security within the EAEU will be held.

The EAEU, which currently comprises Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Russia, is currently presided by Armenia.
