EU to impose sanctions on 351 Russian lawmakers

In protest at the recognition by Russian President Vladimir Putin of “Luhansk and Donetsk people’s republics” in eastern Ukrainian Luhansk and Donetsk regions, the EU will discuss the imposition of sanctions on 351 members of the State Duma, Report informs with reference to Deutsche Welle.
The application of sanctions against 11 more people, who supported the idea of recognizing the "republics", will be discussed.
The European Union will discuss a package of sanctions against Russia on the issue in question.
The Russian State Duma is made up of 450 members.
