EU imposes sanctions on Iran's defense minister

The European Union (EU) imposed sanctions against Iran's Defense Minister Mohammad Reza Gharaei Ashtiani, the EU said in a statement, Report informs.
He is accused of providing military assistance to Russia.
Besides, five individuals and three legal entities were added to the sanctions list.
