The EU foreign ministers have extended until July 24, 2024, the duty-free import of some categories of agricultural products from Moldova, according to a statement released by the EU Council.
Report informs, citing foreign media, that in line with the document, the extension of the duty-free imports of plums, apples, fresh grapes, tomatoes, garlic, cherry and grape juice will support the country's economy.
The import of these goods has been fully liberalized this year since the working legislation suspends all applicable tariff quotas.
The European Parliament earlier support the extension.
