EU civil mission launched in Armenia

The civil mission of the European Union has started its work in Armenia, Report informs via TASS.
The European Union Mission in Armenia (EUMA) has been launched within the Common Security and Defense Policy framework, the Council of the European Union said.
The total number of "exclusively civilian personnel of EUMA will be about 100 people, including about 50 unarmed observers."
Stefano Tomat, the Managing Director for Civilian Planning and Conduct Capability (CPCC), will serve as Civil Operations Commander and Markus Ritter will serve as Chief of Mission, the council added.
