Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan addressed the youth ahead of the runoff voting scheduled for May 28 in the presidential elections, Report informs via Anadolu.
"Together we will solve the problems of the country and eliminate all the challenges facing Türkiye. Let's be together in sorrow and in joy. Let's meet better days! I hope for the active support of young voters during the voting on May 28," his Twitter post says .
The head of state thanked each voter who participated on May 14 in voting in the presidential and parliamentary elections of the 28th convocation.
"By your example [of voting on May 14], you reaffirmed the rightness of the people who deeply believe in the power of youth. I am proud of you! Youth is our hope, the guarantor of a brighter future. I am sure that through the efforts of the younger generation, our people, whose history is full of victories, will come to the most advanced positions in the world. Do not let any force stand in your way," he wrote.
