Erdogan vows to secure Turkey's victory in war on economic dependence

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has commented on the situation with the Turkish lira rate, Report informs.

"We have seen the game played with the currency and interest rate increase. However, we waited patiently, and we won," the Turkish leader told journalists after the session in the Cabinet of Ministers.

He added that a similar game was observed in the fight against terrorists.

"We launched a counteroffensive, and we did it. We will secure our nation's victory in this war on economic dependence," the head of state said.
