Erdogan: Türkiye’s first manned jet completes its maiden flight

The first Turkish-designed manned supersonic jet, the Hürjet, has successfully completed its maiden flight, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan tweeted, Report informs.

"Our country's first manned supersonic jet, the Hürjet, has successfully completed its maiden flight. This is a harbinger of the concept ‘Türkiye’s Centenary,’" he said.

Erdogan shared footage of the moment the Hürjet, developed by the Turkish Aerospace Industry (TUSAS), left the hangar and made its first flight.
