"As long as Recep Tayyip Erdogan is the President of the Republic of Turkiye, we cannot say 'yes' to the accession of countries that support terrorism to NATO," Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said while answering journalists' questions on the plane returning from Azerbaijan, Report informs.
"Unfortunately, the meetings of our delegation with Finland and Sweden were not as expected. There are expectations, but they have not taken the necessary steps regarding Turkiye. They are still letting terrorists walk the streets of Stockholm, Sweden, and providing them security with their police. In fact, on the evening of the meeting day, they made all sorts of mistakes against us by giving air time to a terrorist named Salih Muslim on Swedish state television, and they continue to have a negative attitude towards the F16 issue. They are not honest, and they are not sincere. We cannot repeat the past mistakes made in NATO, regarding the countries that embrace and feed such terrorists," Erdogan said.
