The people of Türkiye suffered greatly from political conflicts, disagreements, Recep Rayyip Erdogan, presidential candidate, chairman of the ruling Party of Justice and Development (AK Parti) and incumbent head of state, said speaking at the May 26 rally in Istanbul, according to Report's correspondent seconded to Türkiye.
"Kemal Kilicdaroglu is today marching with those who threw the Turkish Constitution out. And we, on the contrary, read our Constitution and act in accordance with it," the Turkish leader said.
He noted that on May 14, they held the largest elections in the history of Türkiye.
"I am grateful to everyone who takes part in voting regardless of who they vote for," Erdogan said.
He noted that the Republican Alliance is represented by 323 MPs in parliament.
"I want to ask Kemal Kilicdaroglu: How are you going to work with this parliament?" Erdogan asked.
"After that, there is only one step left. The Turkish people will not allow ambiguity in the second round. I think our nation will also vote for Recep Tayyip Erdogan on May 28."
