Erdogan to visit Uzbekistan tomorrow

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan intends to participate in the 16th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) to be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, on November 8–9, Report informs via TRT Haber.

As reported, the issues of further expansion of economic trade, investment, transport, communication, and humanitarian cooperation will be discussed at the meeting.

According to the information, there will be an exchange of views on the steps to be taken in order to increase the trade volume between the member countries to $100 billion.

It was stated that cooperation in the direction of the development of transport infrastructure and the revitalization of the Modern Silk Road will be evaluated. According to the information, the Trans-Caspian East-West-Middle Corridor Initiative and the latest developments in the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway line will be discussed.
