Erdogan-Putin meeting kicks off in Astana

The meeting between Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Russian President Vladimir Putin has kicked off in Astana within the framework of the 6th Summit of the Council on Cooperation and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), Report informs, citing TRT Haber.
The Presidents are discussing bilateral relations, energy cooperation, the Ukraine war, issues related to Syria, the ceasefire process, as well as the issue of the Black Sea grain corridor.
The Presidents are also expected to discuss Putin's proposal to create a natural gas hub in Turkiye to solve the energy crisis in Europe.
