Erdogan pledges 45% salary increase for civil servants

The salary of civil servants in Türkiye will be increased by 45% and the minimum salary will make 15,000 liras ($768.64), country's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the ceremony of signing the Public Collective Labor Agreement of 2023, Report informs via Anadolu.
"Within the framework of this collective agreement, we are increasing salaries by 45%, including the share of social security. So, the lowest salary of a civil servant will be 15,000 liras," he said.
