Erdogan: PKK will lay down arms and declare its dissolution soon

Türkiye has overcome all obstacles, and the PKK will lay down arms and dissolve the organization soon, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told a meeting with a group of ministers and deputies, Report informs via Haberturk.

According to Erdogan, a new era will begin for all of Türkiye from now on: "In this sense, a great deal of work will fall on politics. There may be those who want to benefit politically from this process, we must be prepared for this. We will not have an easy process. I trust you in this matter."

The president also touched upon the investigation of financial crimes against the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality at the meeting: "Our duty is to ensure that the court does its job."
